This project was created as part of the Brainmind Artist Residency organized by Hbomerguy Studios. The artist explores the history of California with a focus on the effects caused to the indigenous population and the environment as a result of the migration of European, American, and Mexican populations. The project was completed under the mentorship of illustrator Eleanor Davis. Her feedback was integral to the completion of the project.
